The lost quest of Alexandra the Axolotl!

 We did it! We coded our game! Sort of... We started this game with a big motive and HUGE initiative! We had so many plans and ideas for our game! But, everything didn't go as planned. Our original idea was to have Alex (Alexandra), go through a lot of hard obstacles like dodging trash, escaping an army of Tilapia fish, trading with a wise old toad, and battling a huge, big boss Tilapia fish! As you can see, we had very high hopes and expectations for this game. We tried as much as we could, but it just wasn't possible to complete this whole entire game in less than 7 months! BUT!!! We refused to give up! Yes, we had to make several modifications to our original game, but we accommodated and adjusted! First, we had to scale down our obstacles by a lot! Gamemaker Compiler issue #compiler issues, #build failure, #gamemaker trouble.

10/7/23 Today I worked on the space shooter game in gamemaker. I was following along step by step with the tutorial. When I was starting to program my functions and movements for the player/sprite, and error had occurred when I tried to run the code. I encountered an issue during compilation of the code. I had typed my code all correctly, it was just one of the dll (igor.dll) got deleted due to the antivirus program on my computer. My dad had to stop the antivirus, uninstall and reinstall gamemaker. This happened due to the antivirus believing that the compiler dll was a virus and so it deleted it. So when you receive that issue, I recommend stopping your antivirus protection and then uninstall, and reinstalling gamemaker. If that still doesn't work you should reach out to the gamemaker staff.  Happy to help those who have issues! Bhavna
